Our February Farmhouse Family Room...

With the turning of the calendar to February, it's officially spring - - next month! ;)

(Some affiliate links provided.)

It seems perfectly reasonable to start tucking flowers into French market baskets. But we're keeping lots of warmth and texture for winter with blankets and pillows to cozy up with.

Some extra greenery found its way into the nesting boxes...

And here's a better look at the vintage slip-covered chair my husband gave me for my birthday in December... He picked it out all by himself! (Just kidding, notice it does not recline.)

On the other side of this room (not pictured) is my little home office area, where I've been working on some changes. I hope to share them with you soon!

Have a wonderful day friends and thank you for stopping by!

  1. You are so good at having a room look cozy but not cluttered. Did you make the pillows with the blue stripes? I'm on the hunt for fabric like that. Can you help? Have a great day!

    1. That is so kind of you, thank you! My mom made me those grain sack pillows. And yes, I posted about where to buy European grain sack and grain sack pillows. We also have a DIY tutorial on grain sack pillows. I'll attach a link, but if the formatting isn't great here, just google it under "Little Farmstead Grain Sack DIY". http://littlefarmstead.blogspot.com/2017/01/diy-grain-sack-pillows-and-where-to-buy.html
